Before you start your order we'd like you to know that:
We only send plants within the UK
We don't sell seeds
We no longer have a minimum mail order value but remember that a minimum p&p is added per order.
You can order at any time and we don't take payment until the plants are ready to send
We are a specialist nursery and and not an "online shop" and you may have to wait while we grow the plants before sending your order

Email us your order - please include your name, address, delivery option (see below) and tell us your intended method of payment - do not include card details

What will you get?
Plants are in 9cm (3½" pots) (unless stated differently) which we find are ideal size to get plants to establish quickly after planting.;
Plants may be cut back to help them survive the postal experience
When will you get your plants?
We aim to send most orders taken over the closed season during April and May (possibly into early June).
If we're sold out, you can please an order still and we'll contact you as soon as we've grown some more plants, although this could be the following spring- we don't take payment until time of dispatch.
You can add to or change your order any time up to dispatch
Later in the season plants may be sold out or too big to post but some plants are available for quick dispatch.
We cannot accept credit / debit card directly by phone or post.
We take Credit / Debit Cards via PayPal - When your plants are ready we will send you a email requesting payment via PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service - you can simply use your Credit / Debit card to pay on the PayPal website. Once we have confirmation of payment from PayPal we will dispatch the plants in our weekly schedule.
Bank Transfer: You can now select this option on our online order form. We will send you details on who to pay just before dispatch.
Cheque - must be made payable to SpecialPerennials. We will not cash cheques until the plants are ready for dispatch. If ordering in the autumn / winter for spring delivery please write a post-dated cheque (dated 1st April of the new year). We reserve the right to charge for unpaid cheques returned by your bank.
Please Note: at plant fairs and for collected orders we can only accept cheques and cash.
Please contact us if you want to change any details of your order.
An order does not place a contract on either of us - you can amend or cancel up to dispatch time and we may not be able to supply your order due to crop failure etc.
Distance selling rules don't apply to living plants but we will always try to put things right.
If there is a problem with the plants you receive let us know within 7 days of receipt and before planting them as we may arrange for them to be returned to us.
There is just the two of us here so please be patient if it takes a day or so for us to get back to you.
We don't share your details with anyone with the exceptions that:
1) if you request delivery to a post office we must pass your email address on on ParcelForce for them to send you a confirmation that the delivery has been arranged.
2) We may pass your phone number on to our courier for the purpose of aiding the delivery process solely
We don't have any access to your payment card details if you use PayPal and your financial relationship is with them. Please don't send card details to us.
Cookies are something to dunk into your tea or coffee and absolutely nothing to do with this website (although we do like a nice Ginger Nut with our coffee whilst doing updates).
